| Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) is headed by a Project Director (PD), PIMU coordinates the project and field staff at the district level. The PIMU will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Project, and the monitoring of general progress of implementation. The PIMU will work under the overall guidance of the Director General, Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE) who will be responsible for the Project. The main responsibilities of the PIMU are to (a) develop annual implementation plan and ensure its implementation (b) prepare annual budget, allocate and release fund; (c) collect voucher and prepare statement of expenditure (SOE) in order to timely replenishment of funds, conduct audit of project expenditure and send report to the development partners; (d) ensure proper utilization of MIS formats, effective monitoring and evaluation of the project activities; and (e) organize seminars and workshops related to the project. A Project Director (PD) is leading the PIMU while 3 Deputy Directors and 6 Assistant Directors are assisting him. The PD is also responsible for preparing annual report and work plan and distribution of reports as required by the concerned ministries/ development partners. Two data entry operators, 2 computer operators, 1 Accountant, 3 Drivers and 4 MLSS would be recruited as supporting staff of PIMU to assist them. PD, 3 (three) DDs and 6 (six) ADs will be a deputed staff and all other staff will be recruited directly on contract basis for the project period. |
